Regardless of BS vending from #ViolentLeft or BS Experts such as the mayor of Big Rotten One there shall be mandatory identification for all who is reporting.
No, Virginia, it won't discourage people from reporting, people reporting based on peoples convictions and standards.
The lack of the skin in the game makes SWATing and other hoaxes possible. There is no way out, but to bring the skin back to the game.
As long as those who choose to SWAT for fun and for prophit have an option to remain anonymous and take no responsibility of any kind the SWTing will continue, innocent people may be killed, trust in law enforcement may be totally ruined and people may grow hostile towards police. Those hoaxers may do SWATing solely for a purpose to ruin aforementioned trust.
